Note Wisdom
This dimensional personality pathology analysis rejects categorical disorder labeling to link unresolved bereavement to early abandonment schemas, insecure attachment trauma, and chronic emotion dysregulation. Using longitudinal trait datasets and firsthand widower grief testimony, it maps three abandonment schema subtypes and their corresponding maladaptive interpersonal coping cycles, validating schema therapy as an evidence-based intervention to rewire trauma-driven grief amplification by addressing pre-loss developmental vulnerabilities rather than only mourning symptoms.
